Happy Friday loves! And happy 4th of July long weekend!
The week before a holiday is usually super busy and stressful, trying to stuff five days of work in four (or more like seven days into six hehe). So three days off are a big relief. I tend to write long unrealistic to do lists, and sometimes I get to the point that if I do one more thing, my brain will explode. Yesterday, after I found that I left the key in the ignition of my car for an entire night, I thought to take it is a sign to take a break, like, now! So today’s agenda includes hair appointment, lunch with boys, and a trip to Sherwin-Williams store to pick paint for my living room and bedroom walls. I am finally remodeling my house, which, I’m sure contributes to my stress greatly, but the project is almost done and choosing paint should actually be fun. (Follow me on Snapchat @splashofteal for all the fun!).
Now, the dress. I wore this summer dress before for Mothers Day, but I do think that it can be dressed up and down and something in between too, kind of where I am today. I love summer dresses, they are like 60 second outfits to put on and style. Just add sandals, a necklace, sunnies, and a bag. This Anthropologie dress is simple and made of a very light and pleasant fabric, and it’s uneven hem makes it unique and perfect for all day wear from morning errands to a late night dinner date.
