Recently I have been more inclined to style outfits with more of an edgy vibe of chic rock style ~ lately I’ve been dealing with challenge after challenge and, as good as I want to be at facing them, after a while I started losing my mojo. After my home got flooded, I got some news about my mom’s health that left our family terrified and uncertain. Only a couple days ago did we learn that things are now looking positive, for which we’re incredibly grateful. But for a while, as things were sorting out, I felt deflated, and am now trying to do whatever it takes to pick myself up, and gather the energy and attitude of a strong woman, yeah!
Biker jacket, check. Leather pants, check. High heels and mirrored sunglasses, check and check! Chic rock style is not hard to achieve and can be styled in many different ways. This time I mixed this look with my soft laid back plaid shirt in bright fall blues. I stand strong and tall in my black Tory Burch heels (black heels and black skinnies are a favorite), and I already feel better ~ clothes are not only a means of creative expression, but also a way to inspire us to feel certain way ~ looking cool and edgy helps us feel the same. Please tell me what do you do when things in your life don’t go as planned. Do you try lifting your spirit through your clothes? Does it help? Please share your thoughts and experiences!
