Flower Power: a Floral Print Dress for Women Over 40

Today I want to talk about giving the work wardrobe a splash of flower power in the form of floral pattern fabric ~ the large floral print dress is a hot item this spring. I love experimenting with colors and patterns. No matter what age, I never think that I or any woman should stop looking chic, trendy, and bold. To me, being a woman over 40 feels strong, confident, daring, and fabulous.

This Zara dress is a great addition to my wardrobe because it can become an outfit from day to night because of its mix of elements ~ sharp classic black and white colors, a bold size of floral print, and a feminine silhouette. This floral print dress is also an excellent choice for work-related travel because of it’s wrinkle free jersey fabric. Once I take the dress out of my luggage, it’s as good as new! For work, I pair the dress with a simple fitted black blazer, black black mules, and my new absolutely fabulous Wildfox black oversized round sunglasses. For night, I just grab my box clutch (using this clutch to run out to grab lunch in the middle of the workday is a great idea because it holds all the essentials: an iPhone, credit card, and lipgloss).
