I firmly believe that we don’t need too many things in our lives, just a few bare necessities in addition to health, love, and a positive attitude. When it comes to purchasing wardrobe basics, I always look for high quality garment. Sometimes I find myself paying more for a basic t-shit than a trendy dress ~ trendy dress comes and goes, the t-shirt stays. Soft fabric and small details make garments last longer, look luxe, and feel chic and relaxed.
As my house was flooded a week ago, and my family had to move into a hotel, I had to decide what to pack with me and what to send to storage. I, obviously, could not move my entire wardrobe (and, frankly, I did not feel like it either), so I picked the bare necessities ~ casual outfits to run errands in (jeans and a couple of tees work best!), and a few simple work outfits (dresses are the simplest and don’t require too much thinking ~ pack a dress, add shoes and bag, and you are good to go [see dresses here and here]). And for my splash of color, I threw in my pink glasses, lipgloss, and a positive attitude.
