When it comes to building a wardrobe, being practical is important to me, and I always try to be cautious and not overspend for things I don’t need or won’t last long. That does not mean, however, that I don’t enjoy trendy pieces, and jumpsuits are everywhere this season! While I don’t really know how long they are here to stay for, I really wanted to have one and tried many on. Most were too long and unflattering on me. So if you find one that fits you well, grab it before it’s sold out, and that’s exactly what I did when I found this Topshop jumpsuit which is now, unfortunately, sold out (here is jumpsuit by Halogen I love).
When I look for a jumpsuit, I look for the feminine and sophisticated look in a solid color that makes it easy to dress up or down (got to be versatile!). Love this jumpsuit’s black basic look of this jumpsuit. It’s like an empty canvas that can be painted over with accessories.
Jumpsuit Look #1
This is a perfect look for business meetings during the day or a chic night out. Here I added big statement sunglasses, a bright colored necklace, a pair of nude heels that elongate my legs and make me appear taller, and a patent clutch if I’m dressing for a night out (for a work day I would switch to a black tote).
Jumpsuit Look #2
This is a great casual look (love mixing different styles!) where chunky Adidas sneakers add a little edge to the flowy jumpsuit silhouette, and where white frame sunglasses create a fun effect.
Do you have a jumpsuit? If no, why not?! If yes, how do you style it?
