Every time I put my Anthropologie tulle skirt on, I think of how much fun it is to be a girl; to play dress up, twirl in front of a mirror, wear flower crowns, and daydream. Well, maybe except for the occasional playing dress ups, I don’t do any of these things any more. I am just too busy being responsible adult… Whenever I put on this tulle skirt, though, I can’t help but want to twirl, and when I do, I still somehow manage to meet all my respectable adult responsibilities (and in a much happier mood too). So here’s a reminder to myself, to always remind myself to twirl.
I love this Anthropologie tulle skirt (and it’s back in stock!!). It is lightweight and has a slimming (not too poofy) design (otherwise it would probably add an extra 10 unwelcome pounds on me hehe). Today I paired the skirt with this Zara emerald lace top with contrasting neck, nude pumps, and oversize sunglasses. Love this Zara top! Lace is such a big trend this season, and in such vivid green, it adds such rich sophistication to the look and makes it perfect for a night out.
