Zara is my favorite fast fashion store. It’s a little bit understated, always on trend, and super chic. Given the super affordable prices, Zara is a great place to update a wardrobe with the latest trends. But to be honest, Zara’s LBDs and shirts and skirts serve me for years too. (Love my little black dress here and leather pencil skirt here.) I often mix Zara items with my more expensive clothes, and so many times it’s Zara items that get compliments! Finally, last Friday Zara announced the beginning of its semi-annual sales, and I may have gotten a little over excited and bought quite a few things. So I thought that a Zara howl would be appropriate here! I love all the pieces I got, and I think I will get tons of use out of every one of them. I got tops and dresses in different styles which I can wear from day to night to weekend. So here we go!
Guipure Bib Front Blouse ($30) ~ It is oh so boho! Paired with ripped jeans, a fringe bag, and fedora, I am all dressed for a relaxed day! The fabric is thin and pleasant to the touch, and the lace and embroidery details are absolutely delicate and beautiful. The top looks quite supersized, but it actually has a fitted waist which is great if you have a small chest, but for me, to get that flowy and relaxed look, I got it in a size up and it worked. Boho look and feel is the best when I don’t want to (or refuse to) rush.
White Dress with Bell Guipure Sleeves ($30) ~ I haven’t been invited to a white party yet, but I had to have this dress! I love the simple silhouette of the dress and the beautiful guipure bell sleeves. So I thought that the Summer is still young and and even if I don’t, I can still wear it to any other kind of summer party! I can wear it with my white sandals, and accessorize it with white framed sunglasses, and I will look fabulous! (This dress is sold out online! I am linking another cute options here and here.)
Navy Blazer ($70) and Fringed Printed Scarf ($16) ~ This will be my favorite blazer for Summer and Fall, and I can wear it to work, to lunch meetings, to airports! Love the details, the contrasting gold buttons, perfectly placed pockets, and well proportioned waist and shoulders. Should pair perfectly with all kinds of jeans and pencil skirts!
Flowing Dress ($30) (similar in denim here) ~ This is a simple little black dress, and its beauty is that it can be dressed up and down with accessories and colors. I can pair it with all black, or red, or pink, or white…
Floral Print Bomber Jacket ($30) (Similar in black here.) and Pocket Detail Backpack ($40) ~ I wasn’t really sure originally about wearing a bomber jacket. Isn’t it for younger kids? But once I talked myself out of age related insecurities and into having fun, I bought it and love it! The soft white and brown colors will last all the way through the end of Fall season (and if you are in California-esque climate). Unfortunately, this bomber jacket is sold out, but there are still lots of different options and designs. The backpack was bought a bit earlier, but it is on sale now and I wanted to include it. (Here is the link to the post and look wearing this backpack.)
Phew, here’s my Zara Haul, my first haul! Let me know what you think about my picks and share yours!!
